Hampta Pass Trek

Hampta Pass is dramatic contrast in motion: waterfalls and forests on one side, lunar landscapes on the other. A compact itinerary with big Himalayan payoff.

Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Manali to Jobra

   Short drive and first camp amid birch and boulder gardens.

2. Day 2

   Jobra to Jwara

   River crossings and walled valleys; keep cameras ready.

3. Day 3

   Jwara to Balu ka Ghera

   Alpine meadows beneath towering snow domes.

4. Day 4

   Hampta Pass crossing

   Early start, steep snow/rock, descent toward Shea Goru.

5. Day 5

   Chatru & Chandratal (optional)

   High-altitude lake visit when roads allow.

6. Day 6

   Return to Manali

   Rothang approach and celebratory meal in town.
